Artist’s Statement

Form and function guide potter John Miller in all his work.

His signature mixing bowls and fruit bowls are collected by people who appreciate a beautiful piece of pottery that can also be used in everyday life. John has been creating wheel thrown pots since 1992 and is also a high school art teacher. The ridge top where he lives in rural Southeastern Ohio is known as ‘The Rim of the World’ because of the spectacular long-distance view.

All bowls are food-safe and are meant to be used.
